I second Christina, here. From the outset I felt this herculean effort would make a great book. I've not seen several of his films, you brought many to light I've since added to the watchlist. The span of his work is fascinating to me, and I also have my favorites. On wrapping the series up, is there anything you don't know about Altman?
The extraordinary thing is, there's everything he did that's not a feature film: television, theater, opera, early industrial and educational films etc. I didn't really cover any of that. It's such a gigantic body of work.
If there's one takeaway, it's that, I think. Regardless of medium or age or health issues, Altman just loved the creative process, the work towards the next project.
